Checked out Chickpea the other night and man, that's some fine felafel (not to mention damn cheap). Required me to update my list of best felafels ever:
#1 Grandma Esti's homemade felafel (elevated even higher by the baba ganoush with slow roasted eggplant and LOTS of garlic)
#2 Chickpea in NYC (they've also got shewafel = shwarma + felafel combo)
#3 Pita Inn in Skokie, IL (delish kifta too)

Anyone else getting a Weekend at Bernie's III vibe from all this?
And while we're on it, how on earth did Weekend at Bernie's II ever get made!? Were there lots of unanswered questions from the first one that needed to be resolved? Love this review of it at IMDB: "Full of more terrible ideas than any other movie in history. However, that might be the point."
